AAE cancels annual meeting
Nashville meeting canceled due to COVID-19

AAE20 annual meeting has been canceled due to the increasingly uncertain circumstances with COVID-19. The AAE writes:
It is with great anguish that we have chosen to cancel our annual meeting, AAE20. While we were very much looking forward to making everlasting endo memories in the vibrant city of Nashville, the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 proved too extreme to take lightly. Ultimately, for the health and safety of all AAE20 participants, this was the right thing to do.
This cancelation comes on the same day as many professional sports leagues (MLB, NHL, MLS, ATP, & NCAA) also suspended their respective seasons. The NBA canceled the season just one day prior, sending shockwaves throughout the country.
Author Commentary: Canceling AAE20 is the right choice. Aside from health concerns, there would have been little demand anyways. Many members would have canceled themselves.
